James Richard Fuchs



James or Jim as He was know my most was born October 26 1930 in Redwood Falls,Redwood Co.,Minnesota. James was the son of William H Fuchs and Alice Mary Kemp. He Was raised in e Laurens and educated there also. Jim married Betty Lou Chambers on October 27,1949 in Ayrshire, Iowa. He was employed in Agriculture sales for Grimstead Swine service of Camerson,Missouri. He was a long time resident of Baxter,Jasper Co.,Iowa. Jim died on September 17, 1992 at the age of 61 years of age, following a heart attack while driving on Iowa 330 in Jasper Co.,Iowa
Jim was laid to rest at the Ashton Chapel Cemetery about 7 miles west of Baxter off of county road F-17.


Betty Lou Chamber his wife was born in Bode, Humboldt Co.,Iowa on Febuary 20, 1930 to Joseph Chambers and Matilda Haugen. After the passing of her mother Betty Lou Cambers when to live and be raised by her mother's sister and her husband Elmer Tyler and Amada Tyler from Laurens,Pocahontas Co.,Iowa.

James and Betty are the parents of 3 daughters and four sons all born between the years of 195o to 1965.

Mary Ruth Fuchs
Mary was born November 8, 1950 at Emmetsburg, Palo Alto Co.,Iowa The first child of Jim and Betty Fuchs. Mary married Gerald Leon Maxwell on June 14, 1970 in the Ashton chapel just outside of Baxter, Iowa. Gerald was born June 14, 1948. They are the parents of three son's

Darrel Dean Fuchs
Darrel Dean was born January 3, 1952 in Laurens,Pocahontas Co.,Iowa Darrel married Diana Smith July 14, 1990 in Toledo, Tama Co.,Iowa. Darrel and Diana together are the parents of 5 children: two sons and three daughters born from 1981 to 1991.

Lois Elaine Fuchs
Lois was born November 15, 1952 in Emmetsburg, Palo Alto Co.,Iowa Lois did marry Dennis Buckin on August 13, 1991 at U C C in Baxter, Jasper Co.,Iowa. Dennis was born August 5, 1952. Lois and Dennis are the parents of one daughter and one son.

Randy Joe Fuchs
Randy was born November 21,1957 in Storm Lake, Buena Vista Co.,Iowa. Randy married Teresa Joanne Kielly in the Ashton Chapel in Baxter, Jasper Co.,Iowa. Teresa was born June 19, 1959. They are the parents of two son and one daughter.

Jane Marie Fuchs
Jane was born December 9, 1959 in Spirit Lake, Dickerson Co.,Iowa. Jane married Michael William Hanson May 23, 1980 in Ames, Story Co.,Iowa They are the parents of two son and one daughter. Their first born son Christopher Micheal Hanson was born on September 28, 1983 and pasted away the same day, September 28,1983.

Eugene Elmer Fuchs
Eugene or "gene" was born July 11, 1962 in Newton, Jasper Co.,Iowa. Gene wife is unknown to me, I am aware that he is the father of 3 sons. Eugene did live at one time in the Seattle,Washington area for awhile before moving back to the Midwest.

William Henry Fuchs
William was the last of the children born to James Richard Fuchs and Betty Lou (Chambers) Fuchs. William was born July 9, 1965 in Newton, Jasper Co.,Iowa. William married Jodi Marie Woods on April 21, 1984 at the Ashton Chapel at Baxter, Iowa. Jodi Woods was also from Newton, Iowa. William and Jodi are the parents of two daughters.
